Runway 16/34 Dimensions

 Runway 16/34 is 1980 Meters (about 6500ft) long and 44 Meters (150 ft) wide. Typically a runway like this in the US would be 150ft wide and 8000 ft to 12,000 ft long. So it's not perfectly to scale. The Northern end runs into the water. The Southern end Is right up against some mountains. Maybe I will expand it later. For now, 6500 feet is going to have to do.

Welcome

 Welcome to my blog that documents the creation of my Minecraft airport. This project is built in Minecraft Mobile. Whenever possible, the airport is to scale and meets FAA guidelines and requirements. The runway width is regulation but the length is about half the typical length for a ILS Cat 3 Runway. I just ran out of space with the surrounding geography. I chose to build it within a typical spawn geography. I just think it looks cooler that way 🤓. I will be post pictures that show the construction and the current state. I experimented with a lot of textures, lighting and markings. Please ask questions and I will do a post about that question so that everyone can read about it.  The airport is Called Kieran International (KMNB). It has taken about 4 months to get to this point.
